Applying For The Driving Test

Once your learner permit is more than 6 months old you can sit the driving test. You can apply for the driving test before the 6 months expires but be sure to check with the RSA or your driving instructor as they will be able to give you an approximate waiting time for a test date. If you apply too soon for the test and your permit is under 6 months you will have to reschedule your date. You can reschedule up to three times before you will have to reapply for the driving test.

The cost of the driving test is €75 and you can apply on-line or by post. You can pick up an application at your local library,or local test centre. Below you will see the link for the application for the driving test on-line.
