Driving Instructors

Today in the UK Driving Instructors are regulated by the DSA (Driving Standards Authority). Anyone who wishes to give driving lessons for reward must sit a 3 stage exam conducted by the DSA or affliate. Upon successful completion of the 3 stage exam a driving instructor will be registered with the DSA and can begin giving driving lessons. A person found to be giving driving lessons for reward who is not registered will be fined.http://www.ldrivers.co.uk/driving-instructors/find-a-driving-instructor/

It is in everybody's interest that driving lessons are only taken from registered driving instructors, as poor training will lead to poor driving standards. This in turn could lead to unsafe driving practices.
